The House is proud to present.. SOAK

We’re mightily pleased to announce that we’ve been chosen as a stop-off on Derry singer-songwriter – and skateboarder – SOAK’s SK9 Shows tour at skateparks in Ireland and the UK next month.

SOAK, who began creating ripples in the music scene aged just fourteen, is becoming increasingly recognised as a major star in the making, with her recent track ‘B a noBody’ added to Radio 1’s In New Music We Trust list and a string of sold-out headline shows.

Now nominated for the BBC Sound of 2015 poll, SOAK will headline an intimate date at the ICA as part of the ‘Annie Mac Presents Collected’ series, before embarking on a series of free gigs at skateparks in association with The Line of Best Fit.

We’re the last stop on this unique tour, on Saturday 21st February. Tickets for this FREE event from 7 – 9pm are released this Friday, 23rd January, through Billetto UK. This is a rare chance to catch SOAK, whose experimental, folk tinged songs have been described by as ‘intricate, ambiguous psychodramas’ (The Guardian) on her way to stardom. Have a listen to her new single Sea Creatures, exclusively unveiled by Zane Lowe on Radio 1, and get your ticket.
* Rather than travelling with a support act, SOAK would like a local band or artist to join her on each stage of the tour. If you want to be that support please PM us with links to footage or audio of your music, which we’ll forward on for her to have a listen.
